Goals and Objectives of this Course:
- Use prompts about teaching historical inquiry to describe assumptions and insights of practitioners, researchers and self, including how the information relates to professional education practice and growth.
- Design a history lab investigation for inclusion in a pre-existing unit.
- Create an activity for students to collaborate with innovative discussion strategies.
- Implement rigorous and engaging historical questions.
- Challenge the status quo related to teaching hard history by utilizing sources that center the perspectives of historically marginalized groups.
