Goals and Objectives of this Course:
- Use prompts about supporting gender diversity in early childhood education to describe assumptions and insights of practitioners, researchers and self, including how the information relates to professional education practice and growth.
- Design documents to capture terminology, thoughts, and reflections about gender diversity in the early childhood classroom.
- Collaborate with a colleague to discuss strategies for creating safe and supportive genderdiverse early childhood learning spaces.
- Implement an early childhood classroom audit of materials, curriculum, play, or relationships to evaluate for gender-diversity best practices.
- Challenge the status quo through the creation of checklists and resources to support families with children who are gender-diverse.
