Goals and Objectives of this Course:

• Use prompts about assistive technology (AT), to describe assumptions and insights of practitioners, researchers and self, including how the information relates to professional education practice and growth.
• Design or modify a lesson plan, using the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework to include assistive technology tools.
• Create an information sheet that demystifies the AT selection process for families and increases family-school collaboration.
• Recommend an AT tool to implement with a student.
• Challenge the status quo by investigating AT tools supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
