Goals and Objectives of this Course:
- Use prompts about nature-based outdoor education to describe assumptions and insights of practitioners, researchers and self, including how the information relates to professional education practice and growth.
- Design an informational artifact about ensuring diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility when teaching students in a nature-based outdoor classroom.
- Create a nature-based outdoor learning lesson or activity for students to collaborate.
- Reflect on the impact of nature-based outdoor education on students’ social, emotional, mental health, and well-being.
- Challenge the status quo related to using technology in nature-based outdoor education.
