Establishing PreK Cues & Routines

Pre-K learners may come to school with very little social experience outside of the home. Most interactions have likely occurred with family and friends. They need to learn independence and prosocial behavior in a brand-new context. Teachers can help by keeping to a consistent schedule and using routines to support this learning.
