Goals and Objectives of this Course:
- Use provided prompts specific to neurodiversity and neurodiverse students, to describe assumptions and insights of practitioners, researchers and self, including how the information relates to professional educational practice.
- Explain, in writing, how to celebrate the strengths of neurodiverse students.
- Summarize, in writing, strategies for supporting executive skills in neurodiverse students.
- Describe, in writing, information and ideas for behavior management for students who are neurodivergent.
- Develop a behavior strategies guidebook, executive functioning skills plan, or UDL-infused unit to support neurodivergent students.
