The Teaching Channel Team is excited to travel to Philadelphia the last week in June for the highlight of the techie teacher’s year: ISTE! The International Society for Technology in Education’s (ISTE) annual conference features keynote speakers, learning sessions, and hands-on (or should I say, devices on?) opportunities to experience the latest trends in education technology. This year, we’re looking forward to sessions on artificial intelligence, augmented/virtual reality, and podcasting—among many others!
Our team is thrilled to host two sessions!
In “Get Your Game On: An Interactive Scavenger Hunt of Historic Philadelphia,” participants will use the clever GooseChase app to explore the sights of Philly, competing with other teams to complete missions along the way!
“The Secret Sauce: Mixing Edtech + The Science of Learning” is our poster session, where we’ll share tips and tricks for classroom technology that aligns with brain science research. Please join us in the Terrace Ballroom Lobby on Tuesday, June 27, 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm, and check out the connected course, 5239: Strategies to Make Learning Stick!
K12Coalition and Teaching Channel will be at Booth #417 in the Expo Hall. Please look for the butterfly wings, our new logo, and stop by to say “hi!”
We always have an amazing time hanging out (as you can see in the photo from ISTE ‘22!), learning about new tech tools for the classroom, and discovering innovative uses for tried and true favorites. But the best part is bringing ideas back to Teaching Channel, and sharing them with other educators in our courses, blog posts, and social media. Follow along for our Instagram takeover with highlights throughout the week, and stay tuned for an upcoming blog with our top takeaways from ISTE ‘23!
